Overview

 

Housed in the Virginia Institute of Government (VIG), the LEAD program equips local government leaders at every level with the tools to effectively and proactively institute positive change in their organizations. LEAD consists of a one-week course taught by subject matter experts and local government practitioners focused on creating well-equipped, agile, and high performing local governments.

The LEAD program is a dynamic one-week leadership program for local government heads and supervisors. The fee is $5,200 for 2023 and $5,500 for 2024 (includes lodging, most meals, and instructional materials).
